The Windmill is a large windmill located in the center of the village at Goldy Pond. It is the place where Lucas hid from the Poachers and also served as the secret base for the Goldy Pond Resistance. The windmill also serves as the living place of the members of the resistance movement as well as Lucas who lived there for almost thirteen years together with an unnamed boy. This boy died eight years ago from sickness. There was an opening hidden in the wall of the windmill leading to a secret passage to the forest that led to Minerva's door. This door can only be opened by the Promised Pen and leads to the Third Layer. Beyond the door lies the control room for Goldy Pond as well as the Golden Lake.

Exterior

While there are many windmills in Goldy Pond, this one appears to be the largest and is located in the center of Goldy Pond. The exterior of the windmill appears to be mostly inconspicuous. It is a large brick windmill that contains four blades with a checkered print on them. There are also a two arched windows with bars on them on the front side of the window.

The windmill has multiple tables, chairs, wooden crates, barrels and other supplies scattered throughout it's interior. It also contained a narrow opening in the wall with a spiral staircase that leads down to the third layer of Goldy Pond which houses Minerva's door, the control room for Goldy Pond, and the Golden Lake.
