The End (決着, Ketchaku^?) is the eleventh volume of The Promised Neverland series.

Synopsis

Emma and her new allies have successfully taken down many of the demons of Goldy Pond. The last one standing in this demonic hunting ground in Leuvis, but he’s the most powerful of them all. None of the children’s tactics seem to work on him, but some unexpected last-minute help may turn the tide of the battle. Can the children of Goldy Pond finally put an end their despair?

Plot

Volume eleven of The Promised Neverland concluded the battle between the children and Leuvis at Goldy Pond. At the shelter, the plan is to go back to Grace Field to free Phil and the others; however, after revealing the information of the pen to everyone, it seems like we have a side objective before doing just that. It looks like our new arc will be the “Search for the Seven Walls” with a pretty lofty goal in mind. They give themselves a two-year timer to complete this goal… mainly because it may be too late for some of the kids at Grace Field beyond that point. All of this seems easier said than done and that’s only if they have no opposition during this plan of theirs. Judging from the conclusion of the volume, there will be plenty of opposition to be had!

The hunting ground arc is finally completed!

It looks like the kids can't let their guards down, but now with more friends, they can begin planning the rescue of Phil and the others.

This volume ended at chapter 97, so in volume 12 we'll reach 100 chapters!

We've actually already reached it in the pages of Shounen Jump, and chapter 100 being that specific story is all due to Shirai Sensei's calculation.

1. Leuvis is the fifth son of a demon king.

2. For page 104, Demizu Sensei drew a different version just in case. (But we went with the original despite the other option.)

Commercial Performance

Volume 11's sales outperformed all of the previous 10 volumes during the first few weeks of its release.

There was an estimated total of 303,921 copies sold during the first 4 days of its release, earning the first position in Manga sales in Japan alone, beating other notable Shōnen Jump titles like Black Clover and Demon Slayer.

During its second week, the sales ranking dropped to the 10th place, with an estimated total of 51,854 copies sold from November 12 to 18. As of November 2018, there are a total of 355,775 copies sold.

Awards and Nominations

Later in 2018, the series as a whole won under the category of "Best Shōnen Manga" in the 63rd Shogakukan Manga Awards, one of Japan's major manga awards. The series was honored with a bronze statuette and a prize of 1 million yen (about US$9,000).
