Sophie (ソフィー, Sofī) is one of the minor character of The Promised Neverland manga series and a recurring character from the Records of Comrades light novel. She was an orphan from the Grand Valley orphanage and a friend of Lala's whom she met at Goldy Pond.
History[]
Sophie was born raised at Grand Valley orphanage, growing up alongside several other children. At some point, she was shipped out and sent to Goldy Pond to become prey for the Poachers to hunt where she met and befriended Lala. Upon returning from their first hunt, Lala was visibly worried that Sophie was nowhere to be found. Lala wanted to go look for her in the woods, thinking she must have been injured somewhere. But Nigel, knowing what had really happened, knelt in front of his little sister and told her "Sophie won't come back". Lala immediately burst into tears and Nigel did his best to comfort her. Lala and Nigel then took a walk through a white clover field and proceeded to pick flowers in Sophie's memory.[1]

Sophie's appearance is unknown, but as an orphan from Grand Valley, she had her Grand Valley identification number tattooed across her upper chest.
Personality[]
Not much of Sophie's personality is shown, but she appeared to be a kind girl and was a good friend to Lala.

Lala and Sophie appeared to be good friends. Upon learning of Sophie's death, Lala was devastated and proceeded to pick flowers in Sophie's memory.[1]
