Hey Slicex, would you mind linking the original image you cropped to make the individual mug shot images of each "The Promised Neverland" characters? I know it was the key visual image used on the Japanese site a while back, but every image I find of it is low quality. Seems like you're the only one who actually ripped the image from the site instead of just taking a screenshot.
I took the images in their day, when they uploaded them to the promotional site of the anime. In it, each picture was individual each of another, although later they were used for a promotional poster.
I downloaded all of them and uploaded them to the Spanish and English wiki, but I do not currently have access to those photos.
The most I could do is to download them from the community server and do what you say, only it would not be the same as in the promotional poster, although I would try.
Oh I see, so are the individual images on the wiki the same resolution as they were on the anime website when I select "full resolution" or did you resize them before uploading them? I'm actually fine with them not being in the promotional poster format, I just needed the best resolution I could get of them.
All these images are supposed to be of the highest possible resolution, although normally it is usually downloaded when uploading to servers.
As you can see, the images of Emma, Norman and Ray were the biggest of all and that's why they have better resolution, but the others were like that. I tried to increase the size and the quality decreased too, so I left them as I downloaded them.
I'm Bagwis, one of the current admins of The Promised Neverland Wiki - English community. The reason why I'm writing this message to you is to initiate an interlanguage partnership with your TPN (Spanish) Wiki, together with Italian and Portuguese-Brazilian communities. On behalf of other admins of this community, we're joyful that you're able to establish such community, and with that in mind, we're looking forward towards working with you in the future.
Meanwhile, I've already made a request unto the CC wiki in linking our four communities together. The only thing that is left is the uniformization of your wiki-wordmark, as part of TPN interlanguage-affiliates. But before we craft a customized wordmark to you, I would like to know if there is a direct translation of The Promised Neverland into Spanish.
Although we believe that under your leadership, your community will develop properly, you may still want to refer to the following threads with regards to our recommendations in your wiki: Thread 1, Thread 2.
Don't hesitate to reply to me if you have any concerns and inquiries. Thank you~
It seems perfect to me that the communities are connected by interlanguaje buttons.
I do not know if when you say "direct translation" you mean a translation of an official publisher in a Spanish-speaking country or a translation made by fans, but I'm glad to tell you that the manga is licensed by "Norma Editorial" and is also translated by fans.Sorry if there is an error in the text, but I do not have an adequate level of English to answer you, so I am using a translator. Thank you for reading.
Bagwis wrote: I see. What I meant by direct translation is simple. I just want to know how to say the phrase: "The Promised Neverland" in Spanish.
There is no translation for the phrase. The closest thing would be "El prometido neverland". In any case, neverland is "el país nunca jamás"(taking into account the translation that was given to that word in the Peter Pan movie) but saying "El Prometido País de Nunca Jamás" it's strange.
Slicex, you may now use this wiki-wordmark unto your community. Please let me know if you want to request a customization (such as color schemes and the likes). (Or, you may actually edit the file in your own accord.)
