Leo (Reo, レオ) is the main male protagonist of the special pilot chapter We Were Born. He is a gangster and he was saved by Rita from death.
Appearance[]
Leo is a young man of average height. He has spiky seafoam green hair with black roots at the end, grey eyes, a small scar over his forehead and screws as earrings. He appears to wear a thorn white shirt under a green jacket with a yellow collar, as well black pants and sneakers.
Personality[]
Due to the war and his parents and older brother being killed, Leo believed life had no purpose. However, after Rita saved his life and he learned of Mr. Mendel's dark intentions behind adopting Rita, he began to see the value in life. He also began to demonstrate acts of kindness because of what he did to save Rita.
Plot[]
A long time ago, there is a civil war. Leo and his group are fighting and his group lost. Leo was shot and fainted but the girl named Rita saved him and she brought him at the church. Leo woke up in the church and he saw a girl and he pointed a gun at her and they introduced each other. But Leo wonders why Rita is calm and he told him that he is a gang but Rita but Rita does not care who she saves because more importantly she saved Leo. The Father came and he told Rita that Mr. Mendel is there and he is waiting downstairs. He asked Leo if he want to join and he told him Rita found a foster home. He also said that Rita was left in front of church when she was a baby because of the she tries to be useful to others. Leo remembered that he lost his parents and he wonders "Why we were born for what purpose?" and and he hallucinated he saw the group of gangs and they said "We were born to die".
He went up stairs and Leo thank her and Rita asked Leo "Why do you think I was born to this world?" Leo came out and he asked if he sold Rita for money? and the Father said "She was just a tool to make money from beginning" and Leo punch the Father because Rita will be killed. Leo said "Don't mess with the girl who saved my life!" Leo leaves the Father while he is lying down and he asked Mr. Mendel where's Rita and Leo told him to bring Rita back. Mr. Mendel told him he bought that girl and Leo said "life can be bought with money then try to buying your own" and and Leo took out the money from Mr. Mendel and he throw it and the people picked up the money. He came back to Rita and he told her that he is going to leave not going to take revenge and Rita said she wants to live to. They went to the home where Rita's family is.

He is strong and skilled at fighting. He beat up the Father in order to save Rita and can also fight with a gun.

Rita saves Leo from death. At first the two of them didn't get along well because Leo is a gang but Rita wasn't afraid of him because he doesn't care if Leo is a gang oh not the important thing he saved his life. Because of this, when Leo found out that Father was only using Rita for money. and when he found out that Rita would die because of Father and Mr. Mendel. He also saved Rita from death.
