Lala (ララ, Rara) is one of the minor character of The Promised Neverland manga series and a recurring character from the Records of Comrades light novel. She was an orphan from the Grand Valley orphanage and Nigel's younger sister whom she was transferred to Goldy Pond with.
History[]
Lala's death
Lala was born raised at Grand Valley orphanage, growing up alongside several other children. At some point, she and her older brother, Nigel were shipped out and sent to Goldy Pond to become prey for the Poachers to hunt.[1] During their second hunt, Nigel took Lala to hide in some bushes in the woods. After witnessing a boy close by get attacked by the Poachers, Nigel temporarily left Lala alone in the bushes while he went to try to help the boy. Upon his return, Nigel was terrified to see Lala calling his name as she was forced out of the bushes by one of Luce's servants. The servant threw Lala towards Luce whom cruelly exclaimed "You have the honor to be killed by my hand" before impaling the small girl with his blade, all while Nigel watched on in horror.[2]
Appearance[]
Lala appears to be a small girl with light hair styled into three small pigtails, with one on both sides of her head as well as one on top. Her Grand Valley identification number is tattooed across her upper chest. She wore white pants, brown boots, and a plain white sweater with a turtleneck and baggy sleeves.
Personality[]
Nigel described Lala as always smiling. She appeared to be a kind, gentle and selfless girl who was willing to help anyone in need. Lala especially loved picking flowers and taking walks through flower fields. Although she was terrified of the demons, she managed to put on a brave face during the hunts.[2]

Nigel[]
Nigel and Lala appeared to have a very close and loving relationship. Nigel tried his best to protect Lala and comfort her when she was scared or sad and promised her that one day he would take her to a human village. After Lala was killed by Luce, Nigel promised to avenge Lala by killing Luce.[2]
Sophie[]
Lala and Sophie appeared to be good friends. Upon learning of Sophie's death, Lala was devastated and proceeded to pick flowers in Sophie's memory.[2]
