The Human World Arc (人間の世界編, Ningen no Sekai-hen?) is the eleventh and final story arc in The Promised Neverland series.

After safely arriving in the Human World, the Grace Field children realize that Emma has disappeared to a different place, and Norman, Ray, and the others vow to find her.

Summary[]

All the humans from the Demon World safely arrive in the Human World, scattered around different countries. The Grace Field children and adults, the Goldy Pond children, and the Paradise Hideout inhabitants arrive in the same place, and are taken in by Mike Ratri, the current proxy head of the Ratri Clan. However, everyone is shocked to realize that Emma is not with them. Concluding that Emma may have sacrificed herself, yet that she still is alive somewhere in the world, Ray, Norman, and all of the other children decide to go find her, no matter what.

Meanwhile, Emma is transported to a cold place, where she is taken in by a kind elderly man. When she comes to, Emma realizes she doesn't remember anything, since DemonKing Name granted Emma's wish to take every child to the Human World, but in exchange for her memories and her never seeing her family again. The kind man offers Emma a place to sleep and food until she regains her memories and until spring comes, since he lives in a place where there is no signal and no nearby villages. However, she never regains her memories, but still dreams about her forgotten family and friends calling out to her sometimes. Emma, even though she doesn't know or remember the people in her dreams, still longs for them. Despite that, Emma's memories do not return, and she accepts this fact by continuing to live happily with the elderly man. She receives a new name and finds herself a new identity.

Two years pass and it is revealed that under that time, Norman, Ray, and the other children have searched in many different areas to find Emma, but without any luck. However, they eventually do find Emma in a market in town, but are saddened when they find out that Emma has lost her memories. Norman, on the other hand, just expresses his relief on Emma's well-being and goes on to explain their happy and healthy new life in the human world, and he thanks Emma for everything she has done for their family. Emma suddenly begins crying and says that she feels like she had always wanted to see them. So when Norman and Ray ask her to live on together with them and their family, Emma joyfully agrees; all of them hopeful for a brighter future.
