Cislo (シスロ, Shisuro?) is a character of The Promised Neverland. He is a seventeen-year-old orphan from Goodwill Ridge orphanage. He was shipped out to Lambda 7214 to experimented on. He is an ally and underling of Norman.
History[]
Cislo was born on April 30, 2030 and raised at Goodwill Ridge orphanage, growing up along with several other children. At some point, he and his close friend, Barbara were shipped out and sent to an experimental farm called Lambda 7214, a place for experimenting on children. Being tested on with numerous experimental procedures, such as drugging, eventually led Cislo to develop superhuman strength.
After being held in Lambda 7214 for around four years, Norman, under the alias of William Minerva, rescued Cislo and the other victims who were experimented on in the facility and burned it to the ground.[3] Finally free from Lambda, Cislo was eternally grateful for Norman's help and began addressing him as "Boss" as he serves as his underling in the Paradise Hideout.
Appearance[]
Cislo is a muscular young man with short black hair patterned with a white "X", black eyes and three small piercings on each ear. He has a very toned, muscular body. He wears a black t-shirt underneath a green tactical vest, a black belt, green cargo pants with two more black belts around each leg, along with black gloves and black boots. He also has Lambda's identifying brand tattooed onto the left side of his chest. He is often seen wielding a pair of nunchaku, especially when fighting demons.
Personality[]
Since Cislo has been experimented and tested by Lambda workers, he has a deep hatred of demons and does not hesitate to kill. However, he has a goofy, kinder side and he's always ready to help and care for his friends. Despite his large build, Cislo is actually very emotional and easily moved to tears. His hobbies include lifting weights, exercising and training with weapons.[4]

Human World Arc[]
Cislo in 2049.
Upon arriving in the Human World, Cislo is seen to be visibly worried and shocked about Emma's disappearance. Cislo, along with the other children, agrees to search for Emma so they can reunite with her again.[5] Over the next two years spent in the Human World, Cislo began attending school. During spring 2049, he finally reunites with Emma again and cries tears of joy, even though she lost her memories.[6] Briefly in Chapter 181, Cislo can be seen wearing a sports uniform with a prosthetic right leg. Although not confirmed, it would appear he became involved in track and field.
Weapons and Abilities[]
Nunchaku[]
Cislo fought a group of demons guarding a factory farm with a pair of Nunchaku, a traditional Eastern weapon used in martial arts.[7]
Relationships[]
Barbara[]
Barbara and Cislo are close with each other, as they both are part of the Norman's Lambda group and came from Goodwill Ridge. The two both hate the demons with a burning passion and want to destroy them. They have a deep sympathy for each other and Cislo tends to keep Barbara from getting too upset.
Norman[]
Much like the other children from Lambda, Cislo thanks Norman for saving his life and is very loyal towards him.

- Cislo's favorite food is steak.[1]
- The name "Cislo" is of Polish origin and means "to oppress a bully". It is also more common as a surname than a first name.
- According to the official fanbook, Cislo and Barbara were "randomly picked" to be sent to Lambda 7214.[1]
