The Future You Want (
Synopsis[]
Emma revealed to the others about the new information she has gained. She then told them about her new plan. Meanwhile Peter Ratri has plans for the cattle children.
Plot[]
The chapter starts with the overview of the events that happened; with Emma and Ray discovering Goldy Pond in the Reference Room, Emma, Ray and Yugo leaving for Goldy Pond, Emma getting kidnapped, Leuvis and the demons, Emma and Lucas finding the pond and the elevator,
The Grace field escapees then see the contents of the Promised Pen, as they discuss of going to the Human World, Ray addresses that it is dangerous since the Ratri Clan; The family of Mr. Minerva will come after them full force, and the passageway to Grace Field is probably managed by the clan, Another issue is whether the Human World knows the cattle children or can accept them
And if the demons chase them to the Human world, it might cause a war between two worlds,
Emma speaks up about the 2 decisions; escape secretly or start an all out war against the demons with all the children from the farms, She refuses to go to war and goes on how she wants everyone to be released, but addresses that no matter how many they may be, it is still impossible to escape secretly
She then goes on wanting to escape with everyone and not wanting to lose anyone from her family or the friends she made in Goldy Pond, She doesn't just want to escape she wants to live happily in peace, Emma reflects at her time in Goldy Pond; realizing that the world has so many children in it also raised as food and she did not know any of them, She declares wanting to free all the children, not just Grace Field, but also Glory Bell, Grand Valley, Good Will Ridge and the mass productions that Sonju told them about
And the farm Lambda; where Adam came from, She wants to create a world where children aren't raised to be food, where they won't be pursued, and for that to happen, they must search the Seven Walls and make a new promise with Him, They read a description about Him and in making a new promise; resulting that the children can go to the Human World
Nat then proceeds to tell them that Mr. Minerva has never reached the Seven Walls and has never met Him, He tells them he knows that he's being pessimistic but he does not know if they could achieve such feat, because he is sure that demons would still want to eat humans,
They all discuss in making a new promise and once they were done, Emma asks what do they think and if they still want to come with her, They all smirk at her approving her decision and start finding the Seven Walls, Ray then plans the five things they need to do; get in touch with the supporters, Find the Seven Walls, Meet with Him, Make a new promise and return to Phil and the others to go to the Human World, Ray tells Emma that they have to do all this in within 2 years
Emma then goes to tell Yugo and them about their plan only to bump to him, Yugo agrees to their plan alongside, Nigel, Violet and Theo who had collect tree nuts and have been eavesdropping in the conversation, While Yugo admits it's a crazy idea and is super dangerous, the others doesn't want to escape yet, Everyone has approved of Emma's plan as they start working on the plan
Somewhere in the forest, Mujika and Sonju are seen, Emma clutches her pendant and shows Norman reading, Finally it shows Peter Ratri with the the shipped out children in jars talking with someone; who has found of Lord Bayon's corpse but no other children's corpse, He is then informed of the destruction of Goldy Pond and is aware of the coincidence between the Grace Field Escape and the self-destruct system activated at Goldy Pond.
