Plot[]
Trained as a hunter early on, Sonju killed to feed but was taught that even killing has to have an air of respect behind it. Sonju was also taught that life is a cycle and we borrow from it constantly. With these words in his heart, it seemed Sonju—as we discover from the queen—would eventually break from his lineage to help Mujika based on an old faith and we’re glad he didn’t end up becoming like the mad queen herself.
Back in the present, our queen continues her battle with Sonju and we learn the reason she survived her first death was she had two cores and only one was destroyed. Sonju knows where the second core is but the queen isn’t too worried thanks in large part to the fact that her body is now ten times stronger than it was before. Sonju can’t afford to fail as he doesn’t have another core and thus can be killed by the queen with ease. The queen won’t go down without further bloodshed and as the last panels show, she’s aiming now for the kids and Mujika! Sonju will need to come up with a plan quickly or our heroes will become the next meal for this evil woman!
