Chapter 154

A Breakthrough (突破口, Toppakō^?) is the one-hundred-fifty-fourth chapter of The Promised Neverland manga.

Synopsis[]

Norman finally decides to ask Emma and Ray for help, though he is devastated by the fact that all Lambda victims don't have much time left to live. However, Emma and Ray reveal a shocking revelation about Adam, a fellow Lambda victim, and that he may be every Lambda child's hope for survival. Despite the mixed feelings about Norman changing his mind, everyone works together to keep everyone safe. However, Queen Legravalima is revealed to not have been killed yet, and she attacks Norman.

Plot[]

Emma, Ray and Norman have finally rejoined the same side and we couldn’t be any happier! While Norman’s team isn’t too thrilled initially at their boss’ change of plans, they realize that he’s been suffering all this time to help them. Norman even lied to his team that he wasn’t experimented on so they wouldn’t worry about the possible side-effects many of them have. Emma and Ray realize that one person of Norman’s team—despite undergoing experiments—wasn’t showing the same signs he was and that would be the large Adam! With the realization that Adam might have blood that could cure those who are suffering, our newly minted team decides to find Adam.

The Queen reappears behind Norman and we’re left to wonder if she will strike a deadly blow on Norman.
