Plot[]
An injured soldier walks in with an urgent report of a disaster. Leuvis has appeared at Julius Ratri's forces' stronghold has been annihilated. Before the soldier can finish his message, the Orange-haired man and several others set out to find Ratri.
But before they leave, Ratri appears in front of them. They are ecstatic to see their comrade. Ratri's expression, on the other hand, is quite different. He gathers his comrade and discusses to reconsider the proposal, offering a part of the humans to forge peace with demons.
He implores them to reconsider telling the total annihilation his men experience on the battlefield not so long ago. However, Ratri's comrades reject the proposal. Once again, he begs them to reconsider that the ends justify the means. But they ignore him. Left with no choice, Ratri betrays his comrades by letting a group of Demons attack them.
It is revealed that Ratri already reached an agreement with the Demon King. The men and women who fought alongside have become humanities' first cattle.
In a flashback, it is revealed that Ratri and the Demon King asked for the world to be divided into two. The reward that the Demon King must grant, the finest meat that Demon King will ever grom. Meaning creating farms for human breeding. The reward that Ratri must give is to be the "Gatekeeper". Ratri must be the mediator and preserve the peace between the two worlds.
In the ends, humans must play the role of cattle and Ratri's offspring, generation after generation will be stuck in that vortex of fate.
Without realizing it, Ratri has sealed his fate. He cannot escape from the friends he tossed away nor from his fate. He too becomes a foundation for peace.
Back in the present, Him is asking for Emma's wish. The young girl realizes that even though Him may look and act simpleminded, Him is everything but. She remembers the three rules for a wish.
1. Promises made with cannot be overwritten
2. Promises made with cannot be broken
3. You absolutely must not refuse Him his "reward"
Taken the rules into consideration, Emma wishes the following. All cattle children can cross over to the human world, and after that, it is impossible to pass between the two worlds.
