Synopsis[]
It is revealed how the "Promise" from 1,000 years ago between the Ratri family and the demons was forged.
Plot[]
The children find out that there was not one "promise". The first "promise" was the one that humankind made with the demon royalty, humans shant hunt demons, and demons shant hunt humans. The second "promise" was for the humans and demons to work with Him.
In the present time, Emma has come to forge the "promise". Him nonchalantly agrees, surprising the young girl. The only thing Him wants in return is a reward. Only then may Emma reach a "promise".
Over 1000 years ago, a group of soldiers are taking their last breath fighting the demons. But Lord Ratri is optimistic that he and his mean can beat the, and be one step closer to peace.
Even though the men managed to win and survive the battle, there were countless casualties. The men and women discuss various ways to bring this war to an end. Lord Ratri offers a solution. Offer up a portion of humans. Although most of the group agrees with Ratri, some cannot help to point out how this "solution" goes against their morals.
Consequently, Ratri excuses himself, pointing that he is not feeling like himself, and asks them to forget his idea. Despite this, the men and women from different parts of the world encourage each other to last a bit longer.
They were drawing closer to victory. However, the sudden presence of Leuvis has turned the odds against humans. Ratri realized that he was tired. He was tired of the fighting and bloodshed. The people and his troops did not matter. He was tired of it all. Consequently, Ratri requested to meet with the Demon King and make a deal.
