It is said that the first records confirming Mujika's existence dates back to 700 years ago.
She said with just a mouthful of her blood, any demons who drinks it will have the same nature as her. Then everybody started sharing her power and the villages in the area escaped famine and avoid collapse.
These rumors reached the nobility and they devoured anyone who possessed the power. Historical records claimed that she was eaten, but it turns out she escaped and still alive.
Emma asks Norman why the demons didn't use that to solve the problem of devolution. Ray said that they didn't do it because it was against their interests.
The nobles controls the entire demon world. They get to choose who will get food and how much. For the king and his followers, Mujika's power was something against their interest and could render the farms useless. That's why they captured and killed everyone with that power, monopolizing it to themselves.
Emma tries to argue more, but Norman cuts her off and says that not everyone tries to think of everybody else like her.
He said that they need to kill Sonju and Mujika because they are in a dangerous elemental and could endanger the cattle children and his plan.
Emma tells finally tells him about why the two of them came to talk to him in the first place. As Norman tells Emma about the faults of her plan, she said that they'll escape to the human world out of desperation.
Norman disagrees, and said that if they don't exterminate the demons, their families will never be safe enough to smile.
