Encounter (邂逅, Kaikō?) is the one-hundred-nineteenth chapter of The Promised Neverland.
Synopsis[]
Norman is revealed to be William Minerva and was reunited with the Grace Field escapees. He then tells them more information about the Demons.
Plot[]
Emma and Norman hugs as to confirm each other's existence. Emma asks what happened when he was shipped out and Norman tells her that he was sent to s different farm. Norman was about to ask Emma about her well being when he felt that her left ear is missing. She informed him that she left it at the Grace Field house and told them about their escape.
Norman was introduced to the survivors of Goldy Pond while the Grace Field escapees greets him.
Ray comes over and slaps him shocking the people inside. But Ray also missed him and tearfully hugged him along with Emma.
Some time after, Norman learned the other Grace Field children that were left behind. He was also grateful on meeting the Grand Valley group and was sorry for those who died.
Gilda asks where Norman has been and he revealed another farm identifier on his chest, the farm identifier that was the same as Adam's.
Λ7214 was an experimental farm that experimented on cattle children. With the help of Smee, one of the supporters, Norman and his new comrades destroyed Lambda and escaped. Before Smee was killed in the purge by Peter Ratri, he passed information to Norman and his contact network, and that how he found the large Paradise Hideout.
Using William Minerva or James Ratri's name he was able to keep the network of connections, make the Ratri clan fell threatened, and declare an open war against the demons.
Ray then questioned why he was attacking and destroying plantations, and building this "paradise." Norman said that he too had important matter to discuss too.
He then asked them why demons have to eat demons, and questioned what "demons" really are.
