Anti-heroes are characters of the series that do the right thing, but not always for the right reasons, often acting primarily out of self-interest or in ways that defy conventional ethical codes. They may also have good intentions, but are willing to hurt others in order to achieve their goals or sacrifice innocent people for the greater good. Nevertheless, the majority of them still play the part in heroism, but under certain conditions. Most anti-heroes are on neutral terms with the protagonists of the series.
Example: Sonju belonged to a group of demons known as "Heathens" which do not prey on humans, hence is considered an ally by the orphans. However, he still holds a desire to prey on humans again, therefore making him an anti-hero.
